About "The Tiger"...
While doing some random web browsing, I stumbled across this Russian fighter, with an impressive 18-0 record. Well, actually, Sherdog.com shows him with a 17-0 record, but several Euro MMA sites reflect 18-0. After checking Groundandpound.de's Euro rankings, I found that Sarnavskiy is ranked seventh among the continent's top lightweights.
Usually, I would be a lot more skeptical about any fighter with such a high win record but Sarnavksiy has fought several bouts under M-1 Global and Pro FC, so his competition isn't too questionable. I also noticed that he trains with the Rusfighters Sports Club along with 2x Bellator middleweight tournament winner Alexander Shlemenko and M-1 welterweight contender Shamil Zavurov.
BloodyElbow.com ranked Sarnavskiy at #7 in last year's World MMA Scouting Report, citing striking as his strong point. However, BE described Sarnavskiy's ground game as "ineffective". Yet still, he's only 21 years old, and does have time and potential to improve.
Here's some video of Alexander Sarnavskiy at work:
