Marius Zaromskis will be travelling to Scandinavia this month. The reigning Dream Welterweight Champion is scheduled to fight on the Rumble of the Kings 2011 card on November 26 in Stockholm, Sweden. Zaromskis will face Euro-ranked fighter Bruno Carvahlo in the co-main event.
Zaromskis looks to finish 2011 with big a win, having gone 1-1 so far this year. He fell to Jordan Mein at a Score Fighting Series event back in June, but went on to score a notable victory over competitive Deep and Pancrase veteran Eiji Ishikawa at the Dream Japan Bantamweight GP Final in July. It's also very possible that Marius could see a slot on Dream's NYE card.
Bruno Carvahlo is a legacy of the decorated Carvalho Judo and BJJ family. He currently rides an 8-fight win streak and is the World Free Fight Challenge middleweight champion. Carvalho is currently ranked #5 among top European middleweights by GroundandPound.
Zaromskis vs. Bruno Carvahlo rounds out a kickboxing/Muay Thai heavy card. The main event features a highly anticipated super fight between Muay Thai experts Yodsanklai Fairtex, winner of The Contender: Asia, and 2008 K-1 World MAX Final runner up Artur Kyshenko.
While I can't wait to see Zaromski take his high-flying striking game up against the expert grappling of Bruno Caravahlo, the 3x3 K-1/Muay Thai rules bout between Fairtex and Kyshenko is enough to tear the roof off. Peep this 23 minute documentary about this big showdown:
