Fresh off Asian MMA Summit, Road FC Preps for Road FC 5

the Asian MMA Summit in Singapore. Road FC promoter Moon Hong Jung stands far right.
Road FC representatives return from the One FC Network's Asian MMA Summit in Singapore to put the finishing touches on their upcoming December 3rd event. The day will feature 2-shows, one for up-and-coming fighters, titled "Young Guns 001", and an evening card of pro superfights, "Night of Champions".

Night of Champions features two middleweight tournament quarterfinals bouts. Pride and UFC veteran Denis Kang meets Japanese Pride and Hero's vet Oyama Shungo in the main event. The other middleweight tournament bout appears at the bottom of the card with Spirit MC middleweight tournament participant Lee Jae-Sun taking on Akihiko Mori. The champion of the Road FC Middleweight Tournament is said to win a One FC contract.

Evolve MMA team member Brian Choi will toe the line against Team Posse fighter Bae Young Kwon. At 3-0 Choi has already garnered attention as a strong up-and-coming featherweight. This event takes him back to his homeland to which he has not visited for three years.

The event will also see Contender Asia contestant, South African kickboxer Vuyisille Colassa in action against Nam Yui Chul. Nam currently rides a 2-fight win streak which includes a win over Rob Hill at Legend FC 5. It should also be noted that Nam fought Australian standout Adrian Pang to a draw at Legend FC 1. Meanwhile, Colassa, who now resides in Hong Kong was a contestant on The Challenger, the second season of The Contender Asia. He comes in with a win over Xing Yu Ma at One FC: Champion vs. Champion in September.

Road FC 5 will be the first One FC Network event to take place following the landmark Asian MMA Summit that recently took place. It will definitely be a gauge for what to expect out of the One FC Network, and will set the tone for Dream's NYE Fight for Japan event which will be a major show on the Asian scene.
