The Reem, Season 2, Episode 5: Victory with a Twist

My tears have dried, and I'm beginning to come to grips with the fact that Alistair Overeem has been released from Strikeforce. After a few weeks of psychological therapy and intense group counseling, I should be fully recovered from this traumatic course of events. But it will take true grit and courage for me to get over the thought that I may never get to see what would be some of today's biggest heavyweight match-ups -- Overeem vs. Lesnar, Overeem vs. Velasquez, etc...

If the always reliable message board speculation holds any degree of truth or validity, Overeem's next career moves (not including a possible appearance on an October "United Glory" card) will probably fall in line with new developments in Dream and K-1 (which is under new management), and possibly the "UFC of Asia," One FC (yeah, there's already talk about it but it's obviously way too early to confirm anything there).

Well, here is my first step toward recovery -- an audio-visual walk through the hours leading up to his last fight against Fabricio Werdum, some perspective on his September-bout hindering injuries, and other interesting tidbits from Mr. Alistair Overeem in his popular internet video series.

Pray for my speedy recovery, then watch the latest episode of "The Reem".
