Chase Beebe on the Comeback Trail

Former WEC Bantamweight Champion Chase Beebe is on a roll. A submission win over Ralph Acosta at World Fighting Championship 2: "Bad Boys" this past Saturday brought his current win streak to five. With the win, Beebe added the WCF Bantamweight Title to his mantle, and improved his overall record to 21-6.

Beebe hit a rough spot between 2008 and 2009 when he compiled five losses in a row. He bounced back with two wins in 2010 before dropping a KO loss to Hiroyuki Takaya at Dream 16 last September. He has since set out on his current streak of five wins.

Chase Beebe debuted with Bellator in May, defeating Jose Vega for a spot in the Season 5 Bantamweight Tournament. Beebe will face highly decorated BJJ practitioner Marcos "Louro" Galvao in the opening round of the tournament which is expected to kick off some time in September.
