Bibiano Fernandes to Train with Demetrious Johnson in Preparation for Dream World Bantamweight GP

Demetrious Johnson (l) and Bibiano Fernandes (r) make one awesome training duo.
Bibiano Fernandes is taking his career to the next level. The former Dream Featherweight Champion and decorated BJJ black belt will train for seven days at Matt Hume's AMC Pankration in Seattle. Fernandes accepted an invite from Hume's school to train there with UFC Bantamweight Title contender Demetrious Johnson.

This is a unique training opportunity for Fernandes, who is slated to participate in Dream's "World Bantamweight Grand Prix" planned for September 24.

Fernandes recently left his training home at Carlson Gracie's Revolution Team in Canada, where he trained with Jose 'Pele' Landi-Jons.

Fernandes is currently 8-3. He lost the Dream Featherweight Title to Hiroyuki Takaya in his last outing at Dream's New Year's Eve event, Dynamite 2010. A successful run in the Dream World GP could easily further advance his career if successful. His opening round opponent has yet to be announced.

According to Tatame, Fernandes heads to Seattle today.
