Three Fights on Deck for BAMMA 7

"I'm goin' back to Birmingham, Birmingham, Birmingham."  - I think that sounded better when L.L. Cool J said it about Cali'.

The UK's premiere MMA promotion will return to its "spiritutal home," as the National Arena in Birmingham, England is the planned staging ground for BAMMA 7. The card is still in the early stages, but three fights already been announced for the September 10 event.

Decorated BJJ black Belt Leonardo Santos will make his second UK/BAMMA appearance, challenging Rob Sinclair for the BAMMA Lightweight Title. Both fighters currently ride three-fight win streaks.

Tim Radcliffe takes up the honor of welcoming The Ultimate Fighter: Season 8 winner Efrain Escudero in a lightweight affair. Radcliffe is the current UCMMA Lightweight Champion. Escudero dropped a decision to Fabricio Comoes in his last outing. He is now 3-1 since being released from the UFC last year.

A middleweight match-up between Matt Ewin (22-9-1) and Valentino Petrescu (11-2) could determine the next challenger for BAMMA Middleweight titleholder Tom Watson. Both fighters sport impressive records. Matt Ewin defeated UFC veteran Ian Salaverry at BAMMA 6. With 22 wins and a 6-fight win streak, Ewin could be on tap for a visit to the states.

On a sour note, there's no wind of any Dave Batista-Ken Shamrock happenings at BAMMA 7, as I'm sure Shamrock will be prepping for his latest challenge.
