KOTC: "Empire" Results

Neil Cooke's six fight win streak came to a screatching halt last night, at the hands of Esteves Jones. The super heavyweight title headliner lasted a mere 15 seconds, as Jones lead a scrappy exchange, landing a devastating right hand that made way for a TKO stoppage just 15 seconds into the first round.

In a bantamweight title match-up, Jimmie Rivera defeated Jared Papazian in his first title defense since his split decision upset over KOTC mainstay Abel Cullum back in September. A game Papazian kept Rivera busy for all five rounds, but could not fend off Rivera's takedown-strike attack. Rivera followed through to earn a unanimous decision over Papazian.
