MFC Signs UFC Veteran Drew Fickett

Maximum Fighting Championships owner and president Mark Pavelich announced today via his Facebook page that the MFC has just signed UFC veteran  Drew Fickett. According to the Facebook post, Fickett signed a four fight deal with the Edmonton, Alberta-based promotion. Fickett is no stranger to the professional circuit, having competed in the UFC, Strikeforce, Rage in the Cage, and King of the Cage among other organizations. Fickett was released from the UFC in 2007. He hit a rough spot between 2008-2009, posting a 2-10 record. However, 2010 saw a renewed Fickett who defeated Derrick Noble in April , and later went on to rack up three wins in Shine Fights' Lightweight Grand Prix last September.
