Antonio McKee: "People saw something the judges didn't see"

Antonio McKee lost to Jacob Volkmann in his UFC debut at UFC 125 on New Year's Day. McKee was cut from the UFC earlier this week. His release follows a series of cuts from the UFC, particularly from its 155 lb. division. Marcus Davis, who lost in his lightweight debut at UFC 125, and WEC cross overs Chris Horodecki and Jamie Varner, a pre-WEC vet of the UFC, are recent UFC lightweight cuts.

The 155 lb. division is probably the UFC's most vulnerable division. It is definitely it's most overstocked following the UFC-WEC merger. McKee might be a victim of the UFC's personnel cuts, but it appears he has generated a fan following, or at least sympathy, since his release.

Hear Antonio McKee's thoughts on his UFC 125 loss and the resulting Zuffa release...
