Learn from Tony Jaa and Kick Like Anthony Pettis with this Action-Packed Highlight Vid

If you don't know who Tony Jaa is, you're probably just really uncool. Tony Jaa, who played the lead role in the Muy Thai cult film Ong Bak, is one of the most electrifying [film] martial artists and stuntmen in the game. Plain and simple -- he makes Jet Li and Jackie Chan's stunts look like playground stuff. He is also the inspiration behind Anthony Pettis' now viral "Matrix Kick" that he performed en route to defeating Ben Henderson for the last WEC lightweight title at WEC 53 last week. According to a recent MMA Junkie interview with Pettis' coach, former world kickboxing champion Duke Roufus, the Matrix Kick is just one example of the creative techniques that Roufus is trying to bring to his fighter's styles. This is also evident in another one of his student's highlight reeled techniques -- Alan Belcher's off-the-cage-superman punch at UFC 100. As for Tony Jaa, he has become a Buddhist monk. Who knows if we'll ever get to see films like Ong Bak 1, 2, 3, or The Protector again?
