Zab Judah on the Road to Redemption

Former welterweight boxing champion Zab Judah (39-6, 27 KO's) is scheduled to face undefeated welterweight/light heavyweight fighter Lucas Matthysse on November 10. Judah looks to extend his current winning streak to four if he can secure a victory over the Argentinian up-and-comer who at 27-0 boasts a frightening twenty-five knockouts.  Judah's last loss was to Joshua Clottey in a 2008 IBF welterweight title fight. Between January 2006 and June 2007 Judah lost four fights in a row (not including a "no contest" with Ruben Galvan in 2001). The dry spell included tough losses to Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto. His upcoming bout against Matthysse will fill the vacant NABO junior welterweight title spot while serving as an "IBF #2 eliminator bout".

The November 6 fight is scheduled for 12 rounds and will telecast on HBO at 11:15pm ET/PT.
