Quarrel Quotable: New York Assemblyman Bob Reilly and Manny Pacquiao

New York Assemblyman Bob Reilly on HDNet's 'Inside MMA.'
"So, you're taking two different disciplines and combining them. It would be like taking a highway and saying, 'Well you can drive on either side of the road.'"

Well, I guess my combined MMA-demolition derby won't be happening in the 'Big Apple' (too many head on collisions). It seems like MMA just has a bad track record with old guys named Bob (remember the Bob Arum rant?). And that's the perfect segway to the next quotable...

Manny Pacquiao in BoxingScene.com interview:
"When asked if he would ever consider trying his hand at Mixed Martial Arts, Pacquiao replied to BoxingScene - 'I want to, but they [promters and management] don't want me to fight.'
He said if promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank and adviser Michael Koncz said it was okay, he would consider entering the cage."
