He's Baaaack!!! Ryan Ford, MFC 26

PIC Props: MaximumFighting.com

The original welterweight wonder of the MFC, Ryan Ford, makes his promotional return at tomorrow night's MFC 26: 'Retribution.' The Edmonton, Alberta native steps into the Maximum Fighting Championships cage after nearly a year and a half layoff from the promotion. He will face Douglas Lima (14-4) who packs a whopping eight submission wins on his record. Ford's last fight with the Canadian promotion was in February of 2009 in which he fell to IFL veteran Pat Healy via split decision.

A highly publicized disagreement between Ford and MFC President Mark Pavelich sent Ford to The Fight Club (TFC), a competing Canadian mixed martial arts promotion. Ford and Pavelich have since mended their differences and continue their success with a star-studded production that features Antonio McKee in the co-main event. McKee takes on Luciano Azevedo, a Brazilian mixed martial artist who carries the legacy of being the only fighter to defeat current WEC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo. McKee has been the talk of critics who take him as a boring fighter. He is known for his style of fighting safe, fighting for the decision win. But McKee has vowed finish this fight early or retire.

You can catch all the action on HDNet at 10pm ET.
