Of Note:
Middleweight up-and-comer Chris Weidman stays flawless, improving his record to 3-0 as he defeated Uriah Hall for the Ring of Combat Middleweight Championship belt. A high caliber wrestler, Weidman showed off his striking skills, stoppping Hall via TKO in the first round. Weidman was a two-time Junior College All-American, and a two-time Division I All-American for Hofstra University. He has been identified as a top prospect in Sherdog.com's "Prospect Watch."

The card also featured a World Kickboxing Association (WKA) lightweight titlefight between Russian standout Mikhail Malyutin and Brazilian Luiz Azeredo. Azeredo, a Pride veteran with notable wins over Anderson Silva and Paul Daley, did not have the striking cache for Mikhail who kept busy for a unanimous decision win. Meanwhile, Louis Gaudinot jump-guillotined Jessie Riggleman to take home the previously vacant Ring of Combat Flyweight Title.

Of Note:
Darren Uyenoyama posted an upset victory over current Shooto Featherweight Champion Shuichiro Katsumura. Uyenoyama, a Ralph Gracie student, made his presence known, stopping Katsumura via TKO in the second round of their non-title fight. Uyenoyama's strong showing places him in title contention for the Shooto 132 lb. strap. We could see a Uyenoyama-Katsumura rematch in early 2011 for the title.
