Vince Harris (MMA Hotwire.com) interviews Joseph Sandoval. Sandoval garnered a TKO win over a more experienced Douglas Frey (record fell to 8-4), improving his record to 4-0. Leading up to the fight, Douglas Frey, who returned from a win at Bellator 19, was considered by many to be a WEC prospect going into Steele Cage 3. Sandoval however, brought Frey's WEC aspirations to a halt. Frey clobbered Sandoval for most of the first round with an ambush of knees, strikes, and deadly leg kicks but, with about a minute remaining, Sandoval turned it on, delivering a series combinations that sent Frey struggling back to his corner. Sandoval continued to press in the second round, with an onslaught of strikes, drawing the referree stoppage at the 2:24 mark of the second round. It was a classic comeback win. Joseph Sandoval is still young in the sport, but he proved his potential against a much more experienced opponent.
